ByDeborah Austin V3 Systems Inc. is offering its "intelligent Supply Chain Management" (iSCM) product, which it says can provide the fundamental supply-chain execution requirements of small- to medium-sized business facilities or multi-tenant, third-party logistics service provider (3PL) facilities that could not previously justify such systems' traditionally high costs. The iSCM product -- a preset configuration of the V3 System -- provides a flexible operational platform, and is especially geared toward the high-tech, automotive, pharmaceuticals and consumer-goods markets. iSCM offers full Web visibility to all supply-chain information through the V3 Dashboard, and can be set up as a hosted solution. Specific business process components include receiving, put away, replenishment, order management, picking, shipping administration, cycle count and physical inventory. V3 Systems, Charlotte, N.C., provides enterprise applications for automating supply-chain activities.
