UPS Offers Electronic Exchange For Documents

UPS now offers a new service for secure electronic document delivery and management over the Internet via its UPS Document Exchange service. Two types of services are available depending on the security requirement. UPS OnLine Dossier, for critical and confidential documents, uses double encryption and identity validation via digital certification. It also offers document delivery confirmation, tracking, user insurance and third-party validation by Deloitte & Touche LLP. UPS OnLine Courier is designed for more universal document exchange, built on an open environment that allows document exchange regardless of email software, operating platform, or hardware. Security options include password and encryption. Tracking and receipt confirmation are included.
