In an effort to enhance services, USF Holland Inc. has opened two additional terminals, one in Minnesota and the other in Alabama. USF Holland, an operating company of Chicago-based transportation company USF Corp., said it has purchased an existing 28-door facility in Owatonna, Minn., which has begun moving freight. Additionally, the company has purchased five acres of land to expand the facility by an additional 32 doors. These moves are in response to growth in the Twin Cities area. USF Holland also has opened the doors to a leased 17-door facility in Decatur, Ala., which will serve the Birmingham, Chattanooga and Nashville areas. "These terminal upgrades are customer-driven," says USF Holland President Steven Caddy.
