Compiled By Dave Schafer Informatica Corp., a provider of e-business analytic solutions, has unveiled Informatica eSite 4.1, a second-generation Web analytics application. eSite will allow companies to analyze e-business data in conjunction with other enterprise data about customers, sales, suppliers, and products to achieve a consistent and more accurate 360-degree view of the entire business, Informatica says. The Palo Alto, Calif.- based company says this application will help companies answer questions involving all their business channels and explore relationships among customer purchases, payments, inventory, and supply-chain issues to understand key metrics, such as how supplier disruptions may impact the ability to keep up with Web-customer demand. Informatica says eSite assists companies in gaining business insight and maximizing ROI across the enterprise value chain by integrating key Web channels data into the more complex analytic environment that drives the entire enterprise. The application is available immediately as a stand-alone product or as a module of Informatica eCRM.
