Rockwell Automation to Acquire Pavilion Technologies

Acquisition expands Rockwell's process automation software offerings

Rockwell Automation, Inc. recently announced it an agreement to buy Pavilion Technologies, Inc., an advanced process control, production optimization and environmental compliance solutions provider for process and hybrid industries.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, with offices in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, Pavilion Technologies serves major customers in consumer products, oil & gas, chemicals and other process industries. The Pavilion Technologies management team and employees will become part of Rockwell Automations Architecture & Software segment. Pavilion Technologies software products will be integrated into the Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk integrated production and performance suite, as well as the Logix Control Platform.

Pavilion Technologies not only brings a strong technology knowledge and application base, but also a client list that includes Cemex, Glacial Lakes Energy, NOVA Chemicals, Nestle, Fonterra Co-operative Group, SABIC Europe and TOTAL Petrochemicals.
