Company says employees have both technological and leadership skills.

Ecolab Inc. announced on Nov. 25 that it has been named one of the nation's "Top 50 Most Military-Friendly Employers" by G.I. Jobs magazine.

The magazine identifies companies based on criteria including the strength of company military recruiting efforts, the percentage of new hires with prior military service, and company policies toward National Guard and reserve service.

"We are extremely proud to receive this award," said Michael Meyer, Ecolab's Senior Vice President of Human Resources. "Ecolab has long recognized the benefits of hiring employees with a history of military service. The leadership experience, strong work ethic and technical backgrounds of military candidates are often a perfect match for many of our companys in-demand, highly-skilled positions."

With sales of $5.5 billion and more than 26,000 associates, Ecolab Inc. provides cleaning, sanitizing, food safety and infection prevention products and services.
