July 30, 2010
Q.E.P. plans to add a second shift and more equipment at the facility.

Q.E.P. Co. Inc., a Boca Raton, Fla.-based manufacturer of flooring tools and accessories for the home improvement market, said it will expand its Montpelier, Ind., facility.

Q.E.P, which acquired the Montpelier site earlier this year, also expects to add more equipment and special tooling in the facility.

Q.E.P.s expansion plans include the creation of a second shift at the facility, where Q.E.P. manufactures engineered wood panels. The expansion will create 35 jobs, according to the company.

Q.E.P said it has begun interviewing potential employees and anticipates hiring several employees immediately.

Q.E.P. gained the facility earlier this year when it acquired hardwood flooring manufacturer ArborCraft LLC.
