Forecast For Spain: 'Moderate To Strong' Economy

Although the Conference Board's leading economic index for Spain was unchanged in April, the most recent month for which data are available, there's been a good growth rate in the index in recent months and strength among the economic indicators remains "somewhat widespread."

As a result, the New York-based business research group is saying "moderate to strong economic growth [for Spain] should continue in the near term."

The Conference Board's leading economic index for Spain remains at 143.5 (1990=100).
