Germany: 'Moderate' Economic Growth Foreseen

The Conference Board's index of leading economic indicators for Germany rose a tenth of a percentage point in March, the most recent month for which data are available. The leading index now stands at 106.5 (1990=100).

"Following the steady and widespread improvement in the leading index since March 2005, its behavior in recent months suggests that moderate economic growth is likely to continue in the near term," says the Conference Board, a New York-based business research group.
