Harris Wins $18 million Production Contract

Latest award brings the value of the contract to $192 million since 2000.

Harris Corp. said April 23 it received a two-year, $18 million contract to provide communications hardware for military forces.

Harris said the contract was awarded by ViaSat Inc. and adds to previously-awarded work.

The hardware is intended for use in jam-resistant terminals used to provide data and voice communications among military personnel on the ground, in the air and at sea.

Harris said the latest award brings the value of the contract to $192 million since 2000.

This would be valid if only colleagues could interact. I have seen many workplaces in large organizations where only management can interact. All infomation must flow through managers. To make it worse the work layout does not support interactions. ... If you want the benefits of co-location you have to have the right management structure and the right physical structure!!!
