Navistar Selects Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance

Solution will boost the performance of Navistar's existing analytical applications

In an effort to boost performance, Navistar selected two Teradata Data Warehouse Appliances. "The new platform will provide a foundation for some of our most important initiatives and we expect it to also boost the performance of our existing analytical applications," said Navistar Chief Technology Officer Dan Fallon.

The solution was built for entry-level data warehousing and data mart applications.

Navistar International Corp. manufactures commercial trucks, diesel engines, school buses and vehicle chassis under various brand names. The company is also a provider of truck and diesel engine parts and service.
