Chrysler Group Switches Up Management Mix

Chrysler Group LLC on April 15 unveiled a slew of changes to its management team.

The Auburn Hills, Mich.-based automaker named a new CEO and president for each the Ram Truck brand, the Dodge brand and Chrysler de México, as well as a new head of the FIAT brand for North America, according to a news release.

“These appointments are part of the Chrysler Group’s strategy to continuously reinforce its leadership ranks as we continue on our path to achieve our business targets,” said Sergio Marchionne, Chairman and CEO of Chrysler Group LLC.

Reid Bigland was appointed president and CEO of the Ram Truck brand and will also continue to serve as head of U.S. sales and president and CEO of Chrysler Canada. He previously served as president and CEO of the Dodge brand, after joining Chrysler in July 2006 from South Carolina-based Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp.

Timothy Kuniskis, who previously served as head of the FIAT brand for North America, was named president and CEO of the Dodge brand. He joined Chrysler in 1992 and has worked in the company’s business center and marketing organization.

Jason Stoicevich, director of the California Business Center and a 10-year veteran in Chrysler’s business center, was appointed head of the FIAT brand for North America.

Bruno Cattori, director for retail sales and fleet for all Chrysler Group brands in Mexico, was named president and CEO of Chrysler de México. He started at Chrysler Group in 1988 and rejoined in 2012, after serving as president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Mexico.

The Chrysler Group, an alliance with Fiat S.p.A. (IW 1000/48) formed in 2009, produces Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Mopar, SRT and Fiat vehicles and products.
