In the quest to increase its procurement efficiency, Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Shanghai Baosteel Group Corporation, selected i2 as its supply chain management vendor.
Baoshan selected the i2 Supplier Relationship Management as well as the Distributed Order Execution and Supply Chain Operating Services based on i2's experience with the metals industry.
"We believe that we can significantly improve our business efficiency through the implementation of i2 solutions, allowing us to support the growth of our procurement and materials management needs," said Qingyu Li, head of enterprise system innovation department for Baoshan.
