EPCGlobal US can now count the Dow Chemical Co. as one of its members. Dow Chemical says it has already deployed RFID applications to track assets, manage inventory, provide security and use for order fulfillment.

EPCGlobal US is a branch of ECPGlobal, an organization that is striving for the adoption of standards for the Electronic Product Code (EPC) technology. By joining EPCglobal, Dow Chemical says it will be able to drive the use of RFID/GPS to add both security and efficiency in the chemical supply chain. More than 550 companies are members of EPCGlobal US.
