Lockheed Martin Taps Kinaxis for Supply Management

Company says solution will help prioritize replenishments as they provision material consumption on the factory floor.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. of Ft. Worth, Texas, a business unit of Lockheed Martin Corp., recently chose Kinaxis' RapidReponse solution to complement their highly complex supply chain infrastructure in aligning demand and supply.

"In the near term, RapidRespone will aid us in prioritizing replenishments as we provision material consumption on the factory floor. Long term, we envision using this tool to enhance our reporting and decision-making capabilities," explained Bob Rearden, Aeronautics Vice President of Supply Chain Integration at Lockheed Martin.

Its customers include various government agencies and the military services of the U.S. and allied countries around the world.
