The IndustryWeek 1000 is IW's exclusive annual ranking of the world’s largest public manufacturers, by revenue.
The list is created using the following criteria:

Companies with a majority of their business in a manufacturing industry.

Companies that generated less than 50% of revenues from manufacturing, but more revenue from manufacturing than the lowest-revenue-producing company on this year's list.

Oil and gas companies that derive at least 50% of their revenues from the refining of oil and gas products

Companies that derive at least 50% of their revenues from the manufacture of mined materials.

This would be valid if only colleagues could interact. I have seen many workplaces in large organizations where only management can interact. All infomation must flow through managers. To make it worse the work layout does not support interactions. ... If you want the benefits of co-location you have to have the right management structure and the right physical structure!!!
