Supply chain technology companies have been among the most active in the mergers & acquisitions arena in recent months. In particular, HighJump Software, fresh off its divestiture from industrial giant 3M, has been busy plugging up holes in its portfolio of supply chain execution offerings by acquiring companies specializing in software aimed at the consumer goods (BelTek) and food & beverage (Insight Distribution Software) industries.
