China's Domestic Demand for Many Products Fulfilled by US Manufacturers

Tom Andel, Editor-in-Chief of Material Handling and Logistics, reports on the latest export numbers of US consumer goods and machinery and equipment being exported to China.

IBISWorld and the United States International Trade Commission, are reporting an average annual increase of 12.2%  in U.S. consumer goods and machinery and equipment being exported to China.

China’s growing economy is becoming increasingly important for American manufacturers.  The burgeoning Chinese middle-class is the driving force behind this increase.

Today, GM sells more cars in China than in the United States.
