Obama’s signing of the Executive Order creates the International Trade Data System (ITDS) which streamlines the process of import/export approval from days to possibly minutes. Endorsed by UPS, the belief is that this will greatly assist the small and medium-sized companies that depend on global trade to grow and reach the 95 percent of consumers that live outside U.S. borders.
