Consider material availability at suppliers when planning production of complex products with SupplyNet, a new virtual sourcing module for Reflex 6.0 manufacturing planning and optimization solution from ProMIRA Software. An object that contains material requirements is sent via the Internet to the supplier, whose response is considered by the material-planning algorithm in the next planning run.

Reflex 6.0 is a Windows NT-based suite of supply-chain planning and scheduling applications designed to support real-time order-promising and on-time delivery, product change, global supply-chain management, and other optimization strategies for complex-product manufacture. These include electrical, electronic, computer, and communications equipment, industrial machinery, and transportation equipment, according to ProMIRA.
