DRK's SCM assessment tool helps pinpoint areas of progress and stagnation relative to cross-industry SCM best-practice benchmarks, and provides a roadmap for understanding how to progress toward a fully extended, integrated supply chain, the companies say. Using DRK's findings, Dublin, Ohio-based Concentus focuses and deploys its business-process-management solution to enhance collaboration among partners and suppliers, and to offer real-time visibility into all aspects of the supply chain. "Our research has shown that most executives do not have a clear view of the inner workings and opportunity areas of their supply chain," says Kevin McCormack, founder and prinicipal consultant of DRK, located in Birmingham, Ala. "This results in sub-optimization and reduced performance." The assessment-based approach is based on five years of benchmarking and investigative research."
