Compiled ByDeborah Austin i2 Technologies Inc. -- a Dallas-based provider of marketplace solutions -- has announced new alliances with health-care supply-chain-solutions company Neoforma.com Inc. and with TeleCentric, a neutral e-business solutions provider focused on the telecommunications industry. Sharing revenue, Neoforma and i2 plan to collaborate on product development, marketing, sales, and service; i2 will make a minority investment in Neoforma's proposed upcoming round of equity financing. Using i2 TradeMatrix Solutions, Neoforma expects to help the health-care community -- including manufacturers, distributors, and providers -- improve trading relationships and reduce costs. TeleCentric will include TradeMatrix with its solution in fulfillment and supply-chain management, collaborating with i2 to bridge business inefficiencies between telecom service providers and their suppliers. Neoforma is headquartered in San Jose; TeleCentric is based in the Richardson, Tex. telecom corridor.
