Concerned about a slower flow of industrial capital from financially troubled east Asia, Britain is hoping to attract additional manufacturing investment from the U.S. Auto-parts producers are among the companies being sought as English, Scotch, and Welsh development agencies expand their U.S. operations and efforts. With $6.5 billion worth of activity, 42% of all investment, the U.S. is already Britains foreign director investor.
