"What if a supplier sends me a 10-pound box of prime steaks for Christmas?" Managers and their companies seeking advice on such questions can get some help from a new book published by the Paris-based International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), a watchdog for business interests worldwide. Written by business executives and lawyers, Fighting Bribery: A Corporate Practices Manual is specifically designed to help companies apply the new international anti-bribery convention drawn up by of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and ratified by 34 countries. The answer to the initial question: "Return them to the donor or give them to a food bank. A polite thank you note and explanation would be appropriate." The book can be ordered on ICC's Web site www.iccwbo.org.
