TrackSpeed, a Web-based and asset management technology firm, has added four modules to its TrackSpeed Network to help track and control inventory. TrackSpeed Network (TSN) is an Internet-based ASP (application service provider). The four Web-based additions to its supply-chain technology offering include:

  • vendor managed inventory -- This module allows suppliers to manage product within their customers' facilities.
  • customer managed inventory -- This module puts inventory management tools in the hands of the end-users.
  • vendor consigned inventory -- This modules aids suppliers in consigning material at customer locations. The system executes purchase demand by tracking item activity through receipt, storage and consumption by the customer.
  • Web-based kanban -- This module uses a bar-coded card to enable replenishment. The card is scanned into the TrackSpeed Web application using a USB attached bar-code device.
TrackSpeed is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Mich.
