The Conference Board, New York, and
Arthur D. Little Inc., Cambridge, Mass., are cosponsoring the Eighth Annual Conference on Corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety Excellence. The event will be held April 28-29 at the New York Hilton. Featured speakers will include: Frank Popoff, chairman, The Dow Chemical Co.; Christopher Gibson-Smith, managing director of British Petroleum Co., PLC; William McDonough, dean of the School of Architecture at the University of Virginia; and Bjorn Stigson, president, World Business Council for Sustainable Development. The theme of the event will be "Bringing Sustainable Development Down to Earth." Popoff's keynote address will focus on how to incorporate environment, health and safety into a global business agenda.
