GlobalSpec Expands Technical Services Offering

The resource, called Service Finder, lets buyers search for specialized services in the areas of parts fabrication and production, electrical and electronics manufacturing, and testing services, using criteria based on capabilities, qualifications, specialties and geographic location. "A recent survey indicated that 77% of our user population has actively looked for an engineering service supplier in the past six months. Service Finder facilitates that process," says GlobalSpec Inc. President John Schneiter. Technical services that are now searchable on GlobalSpec.com include printed circuit board services, nondestructive testing services, forging services, welding services and rapid prototyping.
