Wireless Supply-Chain Applications Debut

GlobeRanger Corp. has introduced a suite of wireless supply-chain applications targeted to the automotive, consumer packaged goods and high-technology industries. The solutions are geared to provide assistance in the areas of transportation and logistics, field services and field sales. For transportation and logistics, GlobeRanger introduces four applications. The Richardson, Texas, firm says its inbound logistics, outbound delivery, integrated pick-up/delivery and warehouse order-execution applications offer real-time data to help the decision-making process. Field services and field sales applications include mobile workforce management and mobile inventory management solutions, as well as GlobeRanger's order fulfillment application. The order fulfillment application delivers retail inventory visibility, sales order synchronization and sales order execution modules. GlobeRanger is a privately held company founded in 1999.
