Ready For Launch

Right Hemisphere's new software launch aims to aid new product launches

No matter the industry, a new product is never a stand-alone proposition. Every SKU comes with a trail leading from initial design documents all the way through to training manuals, parts catalogs and sales and marketing materials. As AMR Research has observed, barely one-third of manufacturers feel as if their product launch process is under control.

Collaboration solutions provider Right Hemisphere suggests that one way to improve that situation is by integrating visual product communications across departments. Its Right Hemisphere 5 solution can import 110 file formats and export into 47 formats, and is designed to accelerate time-to-market for new product development.

John Borrowski, engineering graphics manager with automaker Daimler-Chrysler, says the Right Hemisphere tool functions as a "fortified visual pipeline" that coordinates collaboration in-house, allowing for quicker and more controlled product rollouts.
