Crown Equipment's Narrow Victory

April 9, 2007
Company nabs international design award.

The design awards keep coming for Crown Equipment Corp.'s TSP 6000 series turret stockpicker designed for very narrow warehouse aisles. For its combination of design and functionality, Crown's entry received a "best of the best" designation, the highest distinction in the international "red dot" competition presented by European design institution Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen. Some 2,548 products from around the world were submitted for the 2007 event. In March, 523 red dots were handed out; just 43 were named best of the best.

This win marks Crown's fourth design award for its TSP 6000 series.
