Chosen by the Ethisphere Institute, a U.S.-based think tank, 99 companies are sitting pretty on a list of the "world's most ethical companies."
Among those in this year's list, compiled since 2007, are 22 first time recipients, including Dell, Thomson Reuters, Best Buy and T-Mobile.
Forty four companies were recognized for the third time, including General Electric, American Express, PepsiCo, McDonalds, Starbucks and IKEA.
Twenty companies dropped off the list from last year.
"Operating as an ethical leader requires a significant commitment from companies that goes beyond lip service and demands real action and change," said Alex Brigham, Ethisphere's executive director. "After a rigorous and competitive selection process, the companies on this year's list have demonstrated an understanding that ethical practices are not only necessary, but can support a stronger and more solid business overall."
Some 10,000 companies were studied before the list was compiled this year.
