Which Country is Your State Closest To?

As this year's election season spotlights the individual 50 states, you might find it interesting to see how each aligns to the wealth of a foreign nation.

The incomparable Economist newspaper has put together a graphic that displays the states and their economic equivalent around the world.

Interestingly, for example, the state of my birth, Texas, has about the same GDP as that of Russia.

My current home, Ohio, approximates Belgium.
