Haws Taps CADdetails for Online Drawing Library Creation

Sept. 8, 2009
Haws Corp., a Sparks, Nev.-based manufacturer of drinking fountains and emergency equipment, has selected CADdetails to help execute its online product library program.

CADdetails' online library integrates CAD drawings, CSI-formatted specifications, 3-D models and product photographs and provides this information to specifiers free of charge on their Web site.

Through the use of CADdetails, Haws plans to take advantage of the growth of the Web as a tool used by industrial specifiers to provide information on products and services, according to Haws. Specifiers will be able to immediately find the products for their application and download scalable 3-D drawings immediately for inclusion into their specifications free of charge, according to the company.
