Analog Devices Opens New Facility in India

The company, which manufactures semiconductors for signal processing applications, has been doing business in India for 15 years.

Analog Devices, Inc., a manufacturer of high-performance semiconductors for signal processing applications, recently announced the opening of its new, expanded development facility in Bangalore, India. The new facility is located at RMZ Infinity Technology Park.

"The innovation process at Analog Devices is a global effort, and our India Product Development Center (IPDC) continues to play a critical role in delivering innovative products and solutions to our customers. As we continue to develop our capabilities in the region, the team here will play an increasingly important role in helping ADI bolster our core technology expertise and also bring those technologies together to solve system level solutions for our customers across the globe," said CEO Jerald Fishman.

Analog Devices recently completed its 15th year of presence in India. The new facility will allow collaboration between the company's DSP, Analog and Software groups.

"ADI is one of the earliest semiconductor companies to set up operations in India, and also one of the few to be involved in all stages of product development from "Concept to Silicon to Production," explained Dr. Karthik, engineering director, IPDC, Analog Devices said.
