DAS North America, a subsidiary of DAS-Korea, will be investing $50 million and creating over 250 jobs at a new manufacturing facility in Montgomery, Alabama.
The company manufactures automotive seat components for Kia Motor's Georgia's plant as well as Hyundai's Sante Fe.
Initially the company will operate out of a temporary facility at the former Grahma Packaging building but will build a permanent 150,000 square feet plant.
This is the company's first North American facility. It has plants in Korea, India and China.
