Alejandro Betancourt is the general manager of Landing AI Latinamerica and Sr. Machine Learning Tech Lead. Landing AI is a Silicon Valley-based company whose mission is to empower customers to jumpstart AI adoption and create practical value.
Alejandro holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Environments from The Technical University of Eindhoven (The Netherlands) and The University of Genova (Italy). Alejandro has developed Innovation Programs and AI-systems for companies like Ecopetrol, Philips, the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), Colombian Social Prosperity Department (DPS), EPM, among others. As a researcher, Alejandro has over 20 peer-reviewed publications.
