"Interactivity" best describes a six-session series on supply-chain management that will occur during the annual conference of APICS -- The Educational Society for Resource Management. The "Interactive Supply Chain Management Experience" is scheduled for Oct. 6-9 in Las Vegas. According to the Alexandria, Va.-based organization, the series will provide "a real-world laboratory" where participants will interact with buyers, sellers and others to make good business decisions. Additionally, the learning sessions will present an in-depth look at APICS' five supply-chain management principles: velocity, variability, vocalize, visualize and value. Registration for the 2003 APICS International Conference and Exposition is available online at www.apics.org/Conf&Expo/Programs/SCM.asp.
