The Asian financial flu, which has lasted nearly seven months, will have no effect on their firms profits over the next four calendar quarters, claim 63% of U.S. CFOs responding to the most recent corporate outlook survey done by the Financial Executives Institute and Duke Universitys Fuqua School of Business. Of the 37% anticipating either a positive or negative impact on earnings from the flu, the average change in earnings is expected to be 5%.
