One of the latest perks for an employee who is relocating is free computer skill training for a spouse. In response to the increased number of dual career couples, some relocation firms are linking with companies that provide the training. An example: As part of its partner relocation program, non-profit Career Development Services, Rochester, N.Y., offers a training voucher, good at any of the more than 200 CompUSA facilities in the U.S (for up to two years after a move). Partners of relocated employees can choose among a variety of programs including database, spreadsheet and graphics training, Microsoft office applications, as well as training on how to use the Internet.
