In an effort to improve education and training for U.S. manufacturing employees, the National Assn. of Manufacturers (NAM) this month launched a new Internet-based service that provides online training. Among the current offerings at www.namvu.com are basic math for electricians, introduction to hydraulics, how to offer exceptional customer service, and a course on how to make rapid improvements in manufacturing.
