(OAOT) a Greenbelt, Md.-based global provider of information technology and eBusiness solutions, acquired a $200 million, 10-year contract to provide data-center-management support for IBM Global Services. IBM Global Services also named OAOT its preferred partner for Data Support Operations, which gives the company an opportunity to significantly increase the contract value and first opportunity to compete for outsourced Data Center Support Operations. "This contract demonstrates the strength and continuing evolutions of our relationship with IBM," says Greg Pratt, president and CEO of OAOT. "Our relationship with IBM showcases the depth and diversity of the skills we offer to customers like IBM, where we provide data-center management and eCommerce solutions as a member of IBM's Web Integrator Initiative." OAOT has provided management services since 1993 for the IBM Global Services data centers in the Northeastern, Southern, and Midwestern regions of the United States. OAOT will be providing 750 to 800 people at all four data centers and will recruit technical personnel to support the western regional data center.
