Compiled ByJill Jusko Electronics contract manufacturer Flextronics Corp. recently honored seven of its top suppliers with 2002 global supplier performance awards. "Our supply base delivers more than $10 billion in products and services a year," says Steve Martson, Flextronics senior vice president and chief procurement officer. "Given the important role they play in our success, it's a pleasure to take this opportunity to recognize our top suppliers for their outstanding performance." The honored suppliers provided "world-class support in the areas of quality, total cost, global account management, supply chain and design," according to the Singapore based manufacturing firm. The 2002 award recipients are: Cypress Semiconductor Corp., KEMET Corp., KOA Corp., ON Semiconductor, Texas Instruments Inc., Three-Five Systems Inc. and Tyco Electronics Corp.
