The volume of German manufacturing orders fell 0.9% in March compared with February, according to recently released provisional data by the Finance Ministry. Demand for industrial products remained "lively," but fell back from the high level seen in February, the ministry added. The decline was almost completely due to falling domestic orders, while foreign demand continued to expand strongly, the ministry said.
