Evans is slated to present the first Corporate Stewardship Award, a creation of the Center for Corporate Citizenship at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Washington, D.C. The U.S. Chamber announced establishment of the award on June 18. Actually, three awards are scheduled to be handed out: one for small companies (less than $50 million in revenues), one for midsized companies ($50 million to $500 million in annual revenues) and one for large companies (those with more than $500 million in revenues). There are nine selection criteria, including financial performance, ethical supply-chain management practices, job creation, corporate governance, and volunteer service.
