Toronto-based Alias Systems is offering StudioTools Techniques - Exploring StudioTools, a learning tool that complements its Alias StudioTools 11 computer-aided industrial design (CAID) software. The self-paced DVD tutorial examines the integrated sketching and modeling features found in the company's CAID software. It also instructs users how to convert raw ideas into digital concepts using curve warp, color replacement and sketch projection tools. It also explains how to model edge finish details and show parting lines on concept models.
