Capitalizing on the largest merger and acquisition wave in history, The Anderson School at UCLA, Los Angeles, is offering an addition to its executive education programs that focuses on the requirements of successful mergers. The course, "Gaining Competitive Advantage Through Mergers, Acquisitions, and Corporate Restructuring," will be offered March 21-26, 1999. Twelve Anderson School faculty members will provide a comprehensive analysis of the forces shaping the latest domestic and international merger activities. During the week-long certificate program, participants also will participate in group discussions, consensus decision making, and strategic negotiations in finance, accounting, and human resource issues.
