Philadelphia is the place and April 25-28, 2004, are the dates for the Institute For Supply Management's annual International Supply Management Conference And Educational Exhibit. This 89th annual event features more than 100 workshops; an exhibit hall with over 100 suppliers; keynote speakers that include J.T. Battenberg, chairman, CEO and president, Delphi Corp., and Dick Conrad, senior vice president, global operations, supply chain, Hewlett-Packard Co.; a cyber cafe to stay connected to the office; as well as exam modules for certified purchasing manager and accredited purchasing practitioner designations. Registration postmarked by Feb. 17, 2004, is $1,079 for ISM members and $1,329 for non-members. After that date, the cost rises $100 for registration received by April 9.
