Atlanta-based Taylor Manufacturing Systems has joined Greensboro, N.C.-based iWork Software, a leading application integration developer focused on the industrial sector, as an application alliance partner. Taylor is the developer and marketer of TESS and HatTrick, which bring flexible production scheduling, shop-floor monitoring, and proactive workflow notification of events capabilities to ERP systems. Taylor will resell iWork's dcXchange, the data transfer and transformation tool within the dcServ enterprise application integration framework, to build solution maps between its products and ERP systems for customers. The dcServ framework provides real time integration of information and processes from Web store fronts to plant floors, among back-office systems and throughout the supply chain. It enables effective e-manufacturing strategies, thus reducing costs and improving inventory management and customer response time, iWork reports.
