New Book Links Leadership Behavior, Profitability

In her first book, Unlock Behavior, Unleash Profits: How Your Leadership Behavior Can Unlock Profitability in Your Organization (2000, McGraw-Hill), author Leslie Wilk Braksick describes the critical role behavior plays in successfully executing business strategies. She uses real-world examples to illustrate exactly how behavior impacts everything from employee performance and retention, to implementing technology systems, and reducing manufacturing cycle times. The book also provides the feedback and coaching tools that Braksick herself uses with executives to help leaders move employees from mere compliance to genuine commitment.
