Product Development Meeting Covers E-commerce, Other Issues

The Product Development & Management Assn. (PDMA) will hold its 1999 International Conference on Oct. 19 to 23 at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center on Marco Island, Fla. The event will feature presentations on product innovation and development by representatives from a variety of industries and thought leaders from top universities. Topics to be discussed include: leveraging the Internet for product development, creating customer solutions through e-commerce, integrating product development and the supply chain, and fostering an innovative culture. Companies from many sectors will talk about how they develop and market new products. Among the presenters: BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Honeywell, Procter & Gamble, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, and IBM.
